RISE OF THE REEF
A Collaborative Initiative for Ocean and Mangroves Restoration and Conservation
In 2023, Oceanic Divas (India) embarked on a mission to create a lasting legacy by collaborating with One Ocean Empire (Malaysia) and Absolute Asia (Australia) on the Rise Of The Reef initiative.
This ambitious project focuses on coral and mangrove restoration, aiming to:
- Restore vital ecosystems
- Support island communities and indigenous populations
- Raise awareness about the importance of reefs and mangroves
Why Reefs and Mangroves Matter:

The ocean produces a significant portion of the world's oxygen through photosynthesis by phytoplankton, ocean is a major source of food for billions of people worldwide, providing fish, shellfish, and other seafood, ocean helps regulate the Earth's climate by absorbing and storing carbon dioxide, which helps mitigate the effects of climate change, ocean supports various industries, including fishing, shipping, tourism, and recreation, which contribute significantly to the global economy, ocean is home to a vast array of marine life and ecosystems, including coral reefs, mangroves, and deep-sea habitats, many marine organisms are sources of new medicines and treatments, oceans holds cultural and spiritual significance for many communities worldwide and the ocean influences weather patterns and temperatures, affecting agriculture, water supply, and daily life.
